Alumni Network Showcase

A grid of alumni cards demonstrating the company as a career launchpad. Each card shows a former employee's avatar and name, then a "Was: <Role> at <Company>" to "Now: <Role> at <Company>" progression separated by an arrow icon.

Installation

A real shadcn registry command, not a copy-paste stand-in: it fetches this block plus its avatar, avatar-initials dependencies and any missing npm packages, and installs them straight into your project.

npx shadcn add https://staaarter.com/r/alumni-network-showcase.json

Prefer not to use the CLI? Copy the source from the Code toggle above into src/components/blocks/careers/careers32.tsx instead.

Usage

The file also exports careers32Demo, the exact props behind the preview above. Spread it to get a working section in one line, then replace it with your own data.

import { Careers32, careers32Demo } from "@/components/blocks/careers/careers32";

export default function Page() {
  return <Careers32 {...careers32Demo} />;
}

Props

PropTypeDefaultDescription
headingstring"Where our alumni go next"Section heading.
descriptionstring"We're proud of the careers people build here..."Section subheading.
alumniAlumniProfile[]noneAlumni cards to render.
classNamestringnoneExtra classes for the outer section element.

Types

interface AlumniProfile {
  name: string;
  avatar?: string;
  previousRole: string;
  previousCompany: string;
  currentRole: string;
  currentCompany: string;
}

Behavior notes

  • Fully static, no interactivity. Avatars fall back to initials (`initialsFromName`) when `avatar` is omitted.
