Photographic Year Ledger

A ruled timeline where each row lines up a year, a photograph from that moment, and the explanation of what forced the change. Headed by a pill CTA on the heading line, stacking to a readable block on mobile.

Installation

A real shadcn registry command, not a copy-paste stand-in: it fetches this block plus its button, media-slot dependencies and any missing npm packages, and installs them straight into your project.

npx shadcn add https://staaarter.com/r/photographic-year-ledger.json

Prefer not to use the CLI? Copy the source from the Code toggle above into src/components/blocks/feature/feature15.tsx instead.

Usage

The file also exports feature15Demo, the exact props behind the preview above. Spread it to get a working section in one line, then replace it with your own data.

import { Feature15, feature15Demo } from "@/components/blocks/feature/feature15";

export default function Page() {
  return <Feature15 {...feature15Demo} />;
}

Props

PropTypeDefaultDescription
eyebrowstringundefinedSmall uppercase label above the heading.
headingstringnoneSection heading.
cta{ label: string; href: string }undefinedOutline pill CTA rendered on the heading line.
rowsLedgerRow[]noneTimeline rows, one per year.
classNamestringnoneExtra classes for the outer section element.

Types

type LedgerRow = {
  year: string;
  photo: { src: string; alt: string };
  title: string;
  description: string;
};

Behavior notes

  • Purely presentational: no client-side state. The CTA is a decorative link (href "#" in the demo) since there is no real destination to wire up.
  • rows renders as a divide-y ruled list; each row is a 3-column grid on desktop (year, photo, text) that collapses to a single stacked column on mobile.
  • eyebrow and cta are both optional and independent: the heading row still renders correctly with only one, both, or neither present.
