Installation

A real shadcn registry command, not a copy-paste stand-in: it fetches this block plus its button, avatar, avatar-initials dependencies and any missing npm packages, and installs them straight into your project.

npx shadcn add https://staaarter.com/r/team-invitation-accept.json

Prefer not to use the CLI? Copy the source from the Code toggle above into src/components/blocks/auth/auth16.tsx instead.

Usage

The file also exports auth16Demo, the exact props behind the preview above. Spread it to get a working section in one line, then replace it with your own data.

import { Auth16, auth16Demo } from "@/components/blocks/auth/auth16";

export default function Page() {
  return <Auth16 {...auth16Demo} />;
}

Props

PropTypeDefaultDescription
inviterInviternoneName and optional avatar of the person who sent the invite.
teamNamestringnoneName of the team or workspace being joined.
emailstringnoneInvited email address, shown read-only in a disabled input.
submitLabelstring"Accept invitation"Label on the submit button.
classNamestringnoneExtra classes for the outer section element.

Types

type Inviter = { name: string; avatar?: { src: string; alt: string } };

Behavior notes

  • The password show/hide toggle is real local state (useState), it swaps the input's type between "password" and "text" and its icon between Eye and EyeOff.
  • The email input is both disabled and readOnly since it is a fixed value the visitor cannot change; there is no onChange handler because it never needs one.
  • "Accept invitation" submits a form with no action wired up; no account is actually created.
