Installation

A real shadcn registry command, not a copy-paste stand-in: it fetches this block plus its dependencies and any missing npm packages, and installs them straight into your project.

npx shadcn add https://staaarter.com/r/workspace-switcher.json

Prefer not to use the CLI? Copy the source from the Code toggle above into src/components/blocks/auth/auth36.tsx instead.

Usage

The file also exports auth36Demo, the exact props behind the preview above. Spread it to get a working section in one line, then replace it with your own data.

import { Auth36, auth36Demo } from "@/components/blocks/auth/auth36";

export default function Page() {
  return <Auth36 {...auth36Demo} />;
}

Props

PropTypeDefaultDescription
headingstring"Choose a workspace"Screen heading above the workspace list.
workspacesWorkspace[]noneOrganizations to list, each rendered as a row with a logo-initial tile and member count.
signedInEmailstringnoneEmail shown in the 'Signed in as' footer note.
classNamestringnoneExtra classes for the outer section element.

Types

type Workspace = { name: string; memberCount: number };

Behavior notes

  • Each workspace's logo-initial tile is a plain colored square built inline from the org's first letter, not the shared Avatar component; tile color rotates through a fixed set of semantic-token background classes (bg-primary, bg-secondary, bg-accent, bg-foreground) by list index.
  • Workspace rows and the 'Create workspace' row are rendered as native <button> elements for hover affordance, but no click handler is wired up; selecting a workspace or creating one would require real backend state.
  • This is a static server component; there is no client-side state anywhere in the block.
