What Is GIF Brightness Changer?

A client-side brightness-adjustment tool that adds a flat offset to every pixel's RGB channels across every decoded frame of an uploaded GIF, mirroring the PNG category's brightness changer exactly.

Negative amounts darken toward black; positive amounts brighten toward white.

How GIF Brightness Changer Works

Every frame is decoded into an RGBA pixel buffer, and the chosen amount (-100 to 100) is scaled to a byte offset in the range -255 to 255.

That offset is added to every pixel's R, G, and B values (clamped back into 0-255), alpha is left untouched, and all frames are re-encoded into a new animated GIF.
